Biseptine spraid is a medicine that is a local antiseptic. It is used for antisepsis of the skin (before an operation), superficial wounds and cutaneous lesions, infected or at risk of infection.
How to use:
2 applications a day. This solution is applied pure and should not be rinsed. Dermal.
Active substances: benzyl alcohol, benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine gluconate. Excipient: purified water
Contraindication and warning
Hypersensitivity to any of the components. This antiseptic should not be applied to the nipple without medical advice. Thorough rinsing before feeding is essential. This medicinal product should not be used in the following cases: in application on the mucous membranes, in particular the genitals, in the eyes or in the auditory meatus (risk of toxicity in case of perforation of the eardrum), for the disinfection of the medical-surgical material.
Combination with other antiseptics or soaps is not recommended as their effects may cancel each other out. Avoid prolonged use of this drug, especially in children, on large or deeply damaged surfaces, without the doctor's advice: risk of passage of the drug into the blood. This antiseptic is not suitable for disinfecting scissors, razors and other potentially contaminating objects.
