French Girl Beauty For The Holidays
How To Look Effortlessly Chic For Any Holiday Party
The classic French girl always looks so chic at soirées with smoky eyes, barely there lipstick and chignon. And not to forget the subtle trail of perfume she leaves behind every time she moves...
We make it easy for you to recreate the look and break it down for you ;)

Prep your skin so that it looks super fresh and use a tinted moisturiser or light foundation. We love this sheet mask from Filorga for a super plumping effect, follow with a tinted moisturiser like the BB cream from Bioderma.
Touch up with concealer if needed.

Smoky eyes that is not overly smoky. What does that mean? Well the smoky eyes as worn originally by Brigitte Bardot was all about a simple eye khôl and volumising mascara. No overdoing the glitter or 5 different types of dark eyeshadows, keep it simple. Dr Marine favourite mascara ever is this one YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils. Use with Chanel Stylo Yeux eyeliner et voilà!
A simple smoky eye.

A chignon is the quintessential chic hairdo for any party plus it can be easy to do and low maintenance during the evening. Simply coat your hair with a great texturiser like Sam mcKnight Cool Girl or use a dry shampoo for volume and texture like this one from Klorane, twist your hair and fix with a pin or a hairband.

Finish off with a pritz of your favourite French scent (we love Chanel No5 L'eau or Frederic Malle Carnal Flower) in all the right places (behind the knees, on the back of your neck) and before you leave spray some perfume in the air in front of you and walk in the mist.
