A bit of History:

You probably know cold cream, a rich cream on a fatty base, whose origin dates back to the famous cerat de Galien, father of pharmacology, in the 2nd century AD. But few remember that in the 19th century, it went hand in hand with vanishing cream, also sometimes called snow cream. This light oil-in-water-type formula had the particularity of becoming suddenly fluid on application, until it was completely eclipsed. It deposited on the skin a fine and lasting veil of emollience, giving it a touch that is both silky and non-greasy. Parisiennes used to use their "vanishing cream" during the day, while the "cold cream" was more readily used at night.

How to use:

After your beauty vinegar or your serum, massage gently until evanescence. And if you feel like it, your skin is ready for a touch of makeup.
