A long-standing reference in French pharmacies, Ultra-Levure 50 mg is a medicinal product used in the symptomatic treatment of diarrhoea, particularly when associated with disruption of the intestinal flora, such as during or after antibiotic use.

Ultra-Levure contains Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745, a medicinal yeast that helps restore the balance of the intestinal microbiota. It supports gut function by helping to limit the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms while preserving beneficial flora.

It is commonly recommended for acute diarrhoea, including traveller’s diarrhoea, and as an adjunct to rehydration measures.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of diarrhoea.
Adjunct treatment during antibiotic-associated diarrhoea.
Support of intestinal flora balance.

How to Use:

Always take this medicine according to the leaflet or the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Capsules should be swallowed with a glass of water.
Do not mix with very hot drinks or alcohol.

If diarrhoea persists beyond 2 days, or is accompanied by fever, blood in stools or signs of dehydration, seek medical advice promptly.

Excipients:

Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin (capsule shell).

Precautions for Use:

Do not use in patients with central venous catheters or in severely immunocompromised individuals.
Do not open the capsule near patients with catheters.
This medicine contains lactose.
Keep out of reach of children.
