Created in 2003, Bain Volumateur aux Algues was specially formulated to give bounce and dimension to otherwise limp, fine hair. The challenge was creating the best volumizing shampoo that simultaneously detangled, softened, and boosted volume.

Many formulas on the market could do one or the other but not all three. A typical volumizing shampoo might leave hair difficult to detangle. A moisturizing cleanser and conditioner might leave hair too heavy and flat. But Leonor Greyl discovered that extracts of seaweed, wheat protein, and blue-green algae (one of the most nutrient-dense foods on Earth) could help create slip, support, and softness.

Today, Bain Volumateur aux Algues is considered one of the best shampoos for volume for fine hair.

How to use:

Emulsify product between your palms, then apply to wet hair and add small amounts of water progressively as a gentle lather builds.

Rinse thoroughly.
