Suppository infant is composed of a combination of active ingredients of herbal medicine aimed at cough suppressant. It is used in infants up to 30 months, during mild
acute bronchial conditions.
It is composed of soft hydroalcoholic extract of grindelia (10mg) and soft hydroalcoholic extract of gelsemium (5 mg), amounts of active substances contained in 1 suppository. Excipients contain propylene glycylecol and solid hemisynthetic glycerids.
Dosage
The usual dosage of infant Coquelusédal is 1 to 2 suppositories per day,to be administered rectally. For a max of 3 days. Always follow the dosage indicated by your doctor. If in doubt, take advice from your doctor or pharmacist. The duration of cough treatment should be as short as possible, due to the risk of local toxicity.
If the disorder persists, or if there are signs of worsening, such as fever, oily or purulent sputum, or chronic bronchial and lung disease, you should consult your doctor.
You should never use Suppository infant coquelusedal in case of damage to the anus or rectum (contraindication related to the route of administration), or in case of allergy to one of the constituents of this medication.
Local irritation can occur, especially if used frequently or prolonged. Be sure to follow the dosage indicated by your doctor, and not to use this medication sustainably.
Assuming infant shells cans at a temperature not expected to exceed 25oC.
